Tigers Hometown Heroes

I grew up in Michigan-not very far from Detroit.  Like all young boys at that time I loved baseball and I loved the Detroit Tigers.

Lionsgate, in conjunction with Major League Baseball Productions, presents the long and impressive history of the Detroit Tigers with its Tigers Hometown Heroics DVD collection.

Relive the ups and downs of the Tigers with can’t miss moments, history making feats, and thrill-a-minute game highlights.

Hillbillies and Petticoat

Exclusively from Wal-Mart and Sam’s comes a duo of classic TV episode collections courtesy of CBS/Paramount.

The ultimate fish-out-of-water classic comedy The Beverly Hillbillies pits the backwoods Clampett family against the slick and modern Beverly Hill, California upper crust.
Country clashes against culture as The Beverly Hillbillies prove that down-home common sense beats out the high and mighty every time.

The Official Fourth Season DVD collection contains all of the season’s episodes.  The Beverly Hillbillies come face-to-face with bumbling burglars, movies stars, millionaires and even magicians.

Has it really been 50 years?  I’m afraid so.  Petticoat Junction celebrates its 50th Anniversary with an Official Third Season collection.

Join the folks at Hooterville as they live the simple life.  The three Bradley girls make life interesting for Uncle Joe, Kate and the citizens of Hooterville as they scheme, stir up trouble and stay just one step ahead of Kate and Uncle Joe.

Billie Jo, Bobbie Jo and Betty Jo contend with school, romance, and hotel guests in this hilarious homespun comedy that has turned 50.

Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel

Talk about your unexpected crossover!  But, I suppose it had to happen.  After all Disney owns both Phineas and Ferb and Marvel Comics.  I had my doubts if the team-up would work but after viewing the DVD I have to admit, it does and it’s funny.

When and unexpected Power-Drain-Inator ray ricochets off Phineas and Ferb’s space station (courtesy of Dr. Doofenshmirtz) and strikes Thor, Spider-Man, Ironman and the Hulk and drains their powers chaos ensues.

The timing of the accident couldn’t have happened at a worse time.  A group of dastardly villains have set about conquering the world and only Phineas and Ferb can restore the Marvel heroes’ powers to them before it’s too late.

Nick Fury and O.W.C.A.’s top agent Perry the Platypus step in to help in this hilarious teaming of Marvel and Phineas and Ferb and their friends and foes.

Included with the DVD are several bonus episodes, a comic book, a poster and more.  Time to get your geek on!
