When CBS/Paramount
first announced the new Star Trek Discovery TV series, Star Trek fans got
excited.
Things cooled down a bit when it was discovered that is
would premiere on CBS’s pay-for-view network.
There were few
grumbles but fans bit their collective lips and maintained their
excitement. After all it was ‘A Brand New
Star Trek TV Series!’
Then it premiered.
Star Trek fans were surprised at its format and storyline. A few abandoned the series while other decided
to hang on and ultimately were won over.
As the series progressed the changes became evident as to
where they were headed and by all indication the second season of the series
will draw in those fans who were at first disgruntled.
The Star Trek; Discovery

The series follows the Star Ship Discovery (pre Captain
Kirk’s Enterprise) as the crew of the ship (consisting of humans and aliens and
one former mutineer) travel the universe in hopes of making contact with other
alien life forms and exploring yet unknown regions of the universe.
Visually stunning and boasting some of the best special
effects ever seen in a TV series, Star Trek: Discovery promises to expand the
Star Trek Universe into new territories and brand new adventures.
Over two hours of special features are also included such
as featurettes, deleted scenes and much, much more.
