Inhumans

Long ago in the pages of Marvel Comics’ Fantastic Four title a character was introduced as part of the Frightful Four.  She was Medusa who had living hair that moved and obeyed her every command.  As the Fantastic Four progressed it was discovered that Medusa was the member of the long-hidden race of super-humans known only as the Inhumans.

The FF would encounter the inhumans and after a while would learn of their strange origin.

Victims of interstellar alien gene manipulation, the Inhumans had grown to include thousands of individuals each possessing special powers.  Later it was discovered that the Inhumans were born as ordinary humans but at the time of their maturity they were given the choice to be enveloped by the Terrigen Mists that would transform them from mere mortals to super-powered beings.  Sometimes the results were good-sometimes bad.

In the classic Inhumans mini-series Paul Jenkins and Jae Lee reintroduced the Inhumans to modern comic book readers.  Along with slight adjustments to their costumes and appearances the story delved deeply into the society of the Inhumans, their distrust of humans and their inevitable clash with each other.

As Black Bolt, the silent leader of the Inhumans, attempted to lead his people new threats arrive from both inside and outside the Inhumans sanctuary, Attilan.

Can the Inhumans survive?  Shout! Factory presents its latest Marvel Knight animated adaptation in a stunning new animated DVD that brings to life this classic tale.  Extras include a look back at the history of the Inhumans and creator interviews.
