Hasegawa Hobby Kits has just
released two new Limited Edition WWI aircraft kits: one from the Japanese, one
from the United States.
Both model kits come in full-color painted cover boxes depicting the
aircraft represented. Easy-to-understand and follow paint, decal and assembly
instructions come in each kit.
Both feature precise and perfectly detailed parts on part trees that boast
little or no flashing and fit together perfectly when assembled.
The Mitsubishi A6M2B Zero got it start as the premiere aircraft aboard the Japanese
I.J.N. Carrier Junyo. American aircraft
performed poorly against the sleek and fast aircraft but unfortunately when the
Junyo suffered repeated damage the Zeros soon had no aircrews to service them.
Three decal sets allow modelers to customize the 1:48 Scale, impressive
aircraft model. The single pilot
aircraft was small and maneuverable with minimal armor and armament.
On the American's side the F4U-1 Corsair was rejected by the Navy because of
its 'less than delicate' landing capabilities.
However the Marines loved the aircraft because of its ruggedness, durability,
agility and impressive firepower.
The Limited Edition, 1:72 Scale, Combo kit includes two variations of the
Corsair-two kits for the price of one!
Like the Zero the Corsair model kits is packed with
details right down to the fuselage plating.
