Cyberman Bust & Illustrated Book

I’m a sucker for mechanical bad men-half human or not.  Gotta love the Borg, the Terminator, Darth Vader and the Cylons.  But, the cybernetic bad guys that started it all and are the nearest and dearest to my heart are Doctor Who’s Cybermen.

These bio-mechanical bad boys have been around 50 years and refuse to disappear.  To be sure they’ve changed a lot over the years from pie pan head side panels to the ultra sophisticated version we see today, their mission remains clear.  Assimilate humans and destroy the Doctor!

Running Press has just released a pint-size bust of a Cyberman complete with full head and upper torso details from its twin ear tubes to its segmented metal spine this miniature Cyberman looks just as deadly as its large counterpart.

Crisply sculpted, packed with details and mounted on its own pedestal display stand the Cyberman Bust also includes a cool extra.

A special illustrated mini-book is included that chronicles the Cybermen history as seen in Doctor Who episodes.  From their clunky beginnings to the introduction of specialized Cybermen, the booklet, written by Richard Dinnick, is pictorial history of the Cybermen complemented by insightful and fascinating text.
