Dark Vengeance

Steven Seagal is back!  (Was he ever really gone?)  This time he stars as Police Detective Elijah Kane who investigates a serial killing of young blond white girls who work as strippers.

The victims are strangled and fastened to a wire fence, a fox mask placed on their faces, a Voodoo type doll perched nearby, a white scarf about their neck and have a white carnation stuffed in their mouth.

All were sexually assaulted-after they were dead!  Sick!

Here’s the kicker:  they all look remarkably like Elijah’s female detective partner. Assisting Elijah is forensic scientist Tenaka, played by George Takei (Star Trek).
The two men delve deeper into the killings and what they discover is more horrendous than either could ever imagine.

Elijah and his skilled team of detectives slowly unravel the clues that hint at the occult, ancient rituals and a sick infatuation for one of his crew.

Culled from several episodes of Seagal’s True Justice TV series, Dark Vengeance is an edge-of-your-seat thriller that leaves viewers emotionally exhausted at its conclusion.

Steven Seagal totally immerses himself in his roll, never playing it for laughs, (although there are some moments of humor) and delivers a tight, gripping story (which he co-wrote) in the vein of the best suspense thrillers.

It’s classic Seagal-the bad guys don’t stand a chance.
This movie will have you guessing right up to end when the killer, and his motivation, is revealed.
