To The Lions

Author Chuck Driskell presents the second appearance of his fictional hero: former Green Beret Gage Hartline in a brand new novel: To the Lions.

This time around the mercenary with a moral compass agrees to enter a Spanish prison to safeguard a powerful cartel leaders’ son.  What he didn’t count n was the rival syndicate after to the son and the falling for a beautiful Polish woman.

The woman: Justina finds herself in a rather ‘uncompromising’ financial situation and Gage manages to save her from the Russian club whose owners don’t take kindly to money being owed them.

Gage spots a kindred spirit and he decides to help her out with the money he earns from the prison ‘guard’ duty.  It’s a good thing too as his prison ‘piece-of-cake’ job gets dangerous and she winds up being his backup.

Double-crossed, the target of rival gangs and corrupt government officials, he’ll need all of his wits, training and skills to come out alive-hopefully.

Gage Hartline is a new kind of hero: fearless, daring, and ruthless and yet with a heart of gold.  He’s the type of guy you want on your side.  Men respect him, woman adore him.  With that kind of reputation you can count on Gage to get the job done.

Look for loads of action, suspense and intrigue in the second Gage Hartline novel.  This is no ordinary hero in a prison novel.  Chuck Driskell’s unique background as a former U.S. Army paratrooper makes him uniquely qualified to write about international intrigue, spying and covert ops.
