Scare, Sci-fi and Road

Mill Creek Entertainment has just released three new DVD/Blu-ray collections.  From fantasy to reality they cover the entire gambit of subjects.

The two major things people like to experience when it comes to movies is being scared and getting a good laugh.  Scared Silly provides both of these needs in 13 Classic Horror Comedies.

Get ready to get your funny bone tickled while at the same time have chilling running up and down your spine.

Classic horror/comedies such as Little Shop of Horrors starring a young Jack Nicholson, The Gorilla starring the Ritz Brothers, Spooks Run Wild with Bela Lugosi and ten other movie classics are yours to enjoy for hours of laughter and scares.

For those of you who enjoy Sci-fi movies from the 1980s Mill Creek Entertainment has a treat for you.  Two classic (if not cheesy) Sci-fi B movies inspired by the success of such films as Star Wars, Alien and even Conan are sure to please even the most ardent Sci-fi fan.

They are Krull, set on a distant planet where magic and myths abide and Spacehunter: Adventures In The Forbidden Zone starring Peter Strauss as an intergalactic bounty hunter.  Both are Sci-fi sensations.

Finally reality rears its ugly head with Emancipation Road: the 7-part Compelling Journey of the freed slaves in the United States and their decade long struggle to gain independence, self-determination and equality through the post-Civil War years up until present day where their descendants still strive for true equality.

It’s a fascinating series about a dark time in America’s past with glimmers of hope for the future.
