The Kingdom of Dreams and Madness


Any Anime fan worth their salt knows about Studio Ghibli who many have dubbed the Walt Disney Studio of the East.

Back in 1985 directors Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata  and producer Toshio Suzuki founded the studio and since that time have produced some of the most revered full-length animation feature films of all time-many of which have won many awards including an Oscar.
Director Mami Sunada has created and in-depth film about the historic film included interviews, behind-the-scenes spotlights of the studio’s film production and much more over a span of one year.
Granted unlimited access to the inner workings of the film studio the film crew captures the fervent attention to each detail of film making and the passion which has elevated the studio as the one of the most respected studios in the film industry.
