The Art of World of Warcraft

Insight Editions recently released a deluxe hardbound book dedicated to the most popular, and largest, online game ever invented.  Of course, I'm referring to World of Warcraft.

For those unfamiliar with World of Warcraft, from Blizzard, the online game allows subscribers to create their own avatar/character complete with powers and abilities.  

Alone, or in groups, various players go on quests to mystic and mysterious lands and encounter danger and adventure around every turn. 

Treasure and abilities are earned as the player(s) gain experience and skill.

The Art of World of Warcraft guides readers through the lush landscapes and spotlights key players.

Each page boasts full page or multi-image drawings or paintings by some of today's top fantasy and gaming artists.

Interviews with developers intermingle with the complete saga of World of Warcraft.  Hundreds of drawings, paintings, concept art and drawings illustrate the incredible scope the game encompasses. 

It's an absolutely stunning piece of work that demonstrates and showcases the incredible imaginations and skills of its creators and developers.
