MacGyver and The Oregon Trail

The man who can make anything using a paper clip and tape is back in Pressman Games’ new MacGyver the Escape Room Game.

I’m talking about the one and only, original Angus “Mac” MacGyver as portrayed by actor Richard Dean Anderson in all of his mullet glory!

One to four players, ages 12 years old and up, assist MacGyver as he tries to solve five sealed hour-long missions.  With a little help from the Phoenix Foundation up to four players solve five individual missions.

Once a mission is completed it cannot be played again.  The MacGyver board game goes hand-in-hand with the accompanying website.

Players gather clues and tools in a desperate gamble to escape each room that has been devilishly devised to stop them at every turn by a familiar foe.

Complete all five missions and diffuse the bombs to prepare you for the big showdown that requires each gamer’s ultimate skills, wits and know-how to come out the winner and survive.

It’s either save the day or end up in a disaster.

Available only at Target, MacGyver The Escape Room Game comes with:

5 Sealed Mission Envelopes – Underground Lab, Airplane, Factory, Missile Silo & Grand Finale
Secret Items Inside Envelopes
1 Empty Utility Bag Envelope

Get ready to crank up the excitement as you fight the clock, gather clues and ‘hopefully’ diffuse each bomb.  MacGyver is counting on you!

The fan favorite The Oregon Trail is back and this time it’s a board game.

As much fun as The Oregon Trail was as a video game it’s even more fun as a board game!

Imagine yourself as a pioneer during the mid-1800s.  You’ve decided to take your family and yourself on a cross-country journey to the old West.

You ultimate goal is Willamette Valley.

As you discover new trails, rivers, forts and towns you leave behind Trail Tile markers.

Things proceed smoothly until you encounter hazards and danger.  With your limited supplies and using only the resources available at the time you must contend with diseases, famine, starvation, wild animals, restless natives and other harsh conditions.

It’s no picnic in the park!

Players are served up a dose of reality as they must adapt and acclimate to the trials, tribulations, troubles and deadly unforeseen dangers of such a trecherous journey though as yet unexplored territory.

Danger and tribulation is lurking behind every tree, rock and mountain.  Who will survive and finish the game to win and enough money to survive once they arrive?  Only the brave, resourceful and determined dare travel The Oregon Trail.
