In IQ Stixx, from Smart Games, all players have to do is stack five horizontal sticks on top of five vertical sticks. Easy, right?

Not so fast-it’s much harder than you think.

Get ready to stimulate your cognitive skills: concentration, problem solving and logic.

Safe and snug in their clear plastic lid flip open box the 10 sticks look innocent enough. Or so you surmise.

Using the enclosed instructions and game guide a single player must put their brain cells to work figuring how to make the vertical and horizontal sticks match up.

The booklet sets the challenge and players must figure out how the other sticks fit together to solve the problem.

Each stick has specific notches on the underside and letters on the surface.

Not only do players have to strategist how to match up the notches but the letters and numbers as well.

Each stick is a different color and by matching up the horizontal slots with the vertical sticks below players can solve the problem.

Trust me when I say it’s not as easy as it looks. It takes some serious thinking to get the sticks in the right order.
