Safari Ltd. also released a few new larger figures and they
include a Cheetah and a Gastornis.
The Cheetah is a majestic big cat that stands as if it is
taking strides across the grasslands of Africa.
Sleek and beautiful the Cheetah figure boasts a light tan and slightly orange
fur, hundreds of black spots, three black rings around the tip of its tail,
black tipped ears, and two black, tear track strips down its face and large
orange eyes. It’s the ultimate
high-speed killing machine wrapped up in a beautiful, long-leg package.
The Gastornis is a large flightless bird with two huge feet
and muscular legs upon which sit a bulky grey feather covered body, blue face,
red eyes, a large yellow beak with pink tongue, stubby wings with black
accented feathers, a set of deadly black
claws and a short, stubby tail.
All of the Safari Ltd. figures are expertly sculpted and accurately
colored to match their larger real-life counterparts and suited for both
display and play.
