Transformers Energon The Complete Series

When the Transformers were first introduced in American in the late 1970s and early 1980s many believed that their success would be short-lived.  But after decades of animated TV shows, three movies and countless toy figures it's obvious the Transformers are here to stay.

 

One of things that keeps the Transformers relevant is that they change with the times.  Not just physically, but each new phase has slightly tweaked and modified the story of the Transformers, their longtime enemy Megatron and the Decepticons and the locations the stories take place.

One manifestation of the Transformers was the highly popular animated series: Transformers Energon.  Fifty one episodes comprised the successful TV series and Shout! Factory has the entire run in its new Transformers Energon The Complete Series set of DVDs.

Episodes center around the attack of the Autobots cities by a new threat: the Terrorcons.

A mysterious enemy has released the Terrorcons on the Autobots after ten years of peace following Unicron's destruction.

To make matters worse Megatron has been revived and he, along with his fellow Decepticons, have gone to war with the Autobots and Earth is smack dab in the middle!

It's up to the Autobots and their human comrade-in-arms to stop the new threat-but can the do it in time to save the Earth?
