Insight Editions has recreated the Handbook into a small, hardbound book (with elastic bookmark) as a notebook/journal so you too can keep notes should you ever find yourself dead.
The book looks worn, slightly scuffed and features a retro front illustration of a 1940s/1950s era couple walking off into the sunset. A special Beetlejuice cover slip is also included.
The inside back cover has a special folder adhered to it so you have some place to keep your dead things in.

Regrettably one of the best science fiction TV shows: Firefly, by writer Joss Whedon, only lasted on the air for one year.
The truth be told, the network it appeared on didn’t know what to make of it, nor did network executives understand its premise.
While the show only lasted one season, its legion of fans have kept it alive for years. A few years back a movie based on Firefly was released: Serenity, to rave reviews.

At one time there was a series of comic books put out under The Classics Illustrated label that adapted literary classics to comic book form.
My favorites were the science fiction and fantasy adaptations. Of those The Time Machine stood out and was by far my favorite issue.
Since then several comic book companies have tried to adapt the book to sequential art-none of which I have been impressed with.
That has changed. Dobbs and Moreau’s adaption of H.G. Wells The Time Machine is spectacular.
The hardbound book contains sequential art that captures the look and feel of the original novel. It faithfully adapts the book as it was written, not as it was seen on the Silver Screen.
The writer and artist somehow manage to encapsulate the story perfectly by using dialogue and text at a minimum and illustrating it in a period style and adding luscious colors and effects that enhance the story instead of detracting from it.

By far the ordinal Star Trek series is my favorite sconce fiction TV show. Others have come close but none can beat the cast of the original series: Captain Kirk, Bones McCoy, Mr. Spock, Scotty, Uhura, Chekov, Sulu and the rest of the original crew made the show the classic it is.
Cheesy as its special effects and sets designs were as compared to today’s more slick production standards, Star Trek TOS far outshines all others because of its scripts, concept and sense of adventure.
