Batman Beyond from DC Comics has become a very popular character. He’s had a number of number one issues and series and I’m going to review two of them. One is from 2010 and one from 2011.
In the 2010 issue Batman Beyond (hereby referred to only as Batman) things start out fast and furious as Batman takes on Spellbinder and meets up with the future version of The Atom: Micron.
Micron asks Batman to join the Justice League. Batman declines.
Back at the Batcave Batman meets up with Bruce Wayne and just as Batman is about to leave a police report comes in.
Batman investigates and as he comforts one of the criminal’s victims she tells him that the criminal's name is Hush. (Sound familiar?)
Also included is an Action Comics #390 preview.
In the 2011 #1 issue things really start to heat up as Batman encounters the new Justice League consisting of Green Lantern, Aquagirl, Micron, Barda and Warhawk.
A sneak peek at DC Universe Legends #1 is also included in which Lex Luthor kills Superman-bad mistake!
