Stephen J. Cannell

Considered by many in the television industry as one of the most prolific series creators in the business, Stephen J. Cannell was a pioneer of television in the 1970s to the 1990s.

His roster of shows included such hits as The A Team, Baretta, The Rockford Files, Black Sheep Squadron, Riptide, Tenspeed and Brownshoe, Hardcastle and MeCormick, The Greatest American Hero and many more.

His passion for telling good stories and his genius for tapping into the American social consciousness of the times were second to none.
