As much as I enjoy most of the Doctor Who merchandise produced here in the
good ol' USA nothing can match the Doctor Who merchandise produced in the land where
he was born-Britain.
Brits on the other hand know full well the quirks, humor, personality and essence of Doctor Who. In other words they know what makes Doctor Who-Doctor Who.

Issues one and two have all the tried and true elements that make the Doctor Who TV series so memorable: solid characters that are well-fleshed out, aliens, exotic locales, bizarre alien technology, the fidgety and impatient Doctor and his female companion, an impossible to escape form situation and of course-a memorable villain.
This time around the Doctor and his female traveling companion Clara find themselves on a veritable Eden of a planet which they discover has been recently terraformed.
Unfortunately the terraforming uncovered a long buried alien ship with a very nasty volcanic alien aboard called Hyperios.
As expected Hyperios and the Doctor don't see eye to eye and problems arise-mainly Hyperios wants to kill the Doctor, Clara and any other alien that gets in its way.
Of course Hyperios never expected the Doctor to 'cool things off a bit.' Nuff said!
