Oh yeah! I know some nephews, nieces and grandkids that are going to love the new selection of kids’ books I just received from Parragon!
I am about to become a very popular uncle and grandpa!
To make things even more exciting all five books are about Disney characters: one fan favorite and one new up-and-coming movie character. First things first.
Kids love to color and use stickers.
In ‘Little Snowman Big Adventures’ everyone’s favorite wacky snowman: Olaf from Frozen, stars in his very own adventure complete with over 30 stickers and puzzles, coloring pages and a set of four crayons with a crayon keeper.
This colorful combination is sure to be a hit with kids.
Beautifully
illustrated, with clever puzzles and one whole page of full-color stickers,
makes the entire package a winter wonderland of fun.
Speaking
of sticker and coloring fun, ‘Coco
Always Remembers’ and ‘Coco
Friends Forever’ are two new fun-filled books based on the new Coco
computer-animated film from Disney and Pixar.
Based
on the Mexican celebration of ‘The Day Of The Dead’ the film finds Coco
reunited with his deceased ancestors in the afterlife.
Far
from a ‘dead’ story, the film is an exhilarating celebration of life, family love
and devotion.
Coco
Always Remembers is a fun coloring book with four crayons and a holder.
Kids
can color the black and white inspired ‘Land Of The Dead’ pages and add a
little color to bring them to life.
I
especially love the design of the crayon holder with skull shape accented by
red, blue, yellow and purple.
For
even more coloring fun along with activities, puzzles and stickers Coco Friends
Forever immediately grabs your attention with its gold accented color cover,
four pages of colorful stickers, full-color Coco story where kids match the
stickers to the story, intricate and detailed coloring pages and challenging
activities.
There’s
nothing ‘dead’ about this book!
The
stunning silver cover accented by full-color illustration cover of ‘Coco
Sing Your Song’ book is a real treasure.
Not
only can kids sing Miguel’s songs they can also punch out their own skull
masks, sketch, create a family tree, keep a journal, keep special notes and
draw, draw, draw!
Now
this is the kind of sketchbook I wish I had had when I was a kid! What a wonderful way to stir a child’s
imagination, organizational skills and writing and drawing talent.
Last,
but certainly not least, is ‘Coco
Mosaic Sticker By Numbers’. This
book is literally bursting with stickers and color.
Of
the four Coco books this is my favorite.
Inside
are colorful pieces of various mosaics. Kids use the pieces and match them up
with the color illustrations inside.
Once
done they have wonderful mosaics worthy of putting on display and showing their
friends and family.
Besides
looking awesome the book is a great teaching tool for kids encouraging them to
use their cognitive skills while they use the number pieces to match correctly
where they go on what particular drawing.
Matching,
counting and dexterity are all tested in a fun and exciting book that is
guaranteed to keep kids’ attention while they play and learn.
All
five of the books reviewed make for fun and exciting playtime and kids learn
all sorts of skills without even realizing it.
Now that’s a great way to learn!
