The popular five seasons television series ran from 1994 to 1998 for a total of 110 episodes and is considered one of the most groundbreaking, original and critically acclaimed sci-fi TV series ever produced.

Starting with the pilot film The Gathering the series began one year later with each season representing one year in real time.

The five-year story arc paved the way for later series.

In 2258 CE five adversarial federations control and dominate the outermost space regions.

An uneasy peace is established on a lone space station: Babylon 5.

The stellar cast, writers, production staff and studio turned out a first-rate series on a limited budget.

Despite its budget restrictions the series successfully turned out stellar episodes with plenty of action, intrigue and impressive special effects.
