A Celebration Of Animation

I grew up watching TV cartoons. Saturday mornings were dedicated to watching cartoons when I was young. I had my favorite series and of each series I had my favorite character.

In A Celebration Of Animation, Lyons Press and  authors Marty Gitlin and Joe Wos present the 100 greatest cartoon characters in television history.

Each and every decade is covered from the time the first animated TV show appeared up until present day.

Space Ghost, Bugs Bunny, Bullwinkle, Yogi Bear, Fred Flintstone, Pikachu, Fat Albert and Bart Simpson are just a few of the characters spotlighted.

Each character is given its own bio including famous bits and phrases, historical facts and some surprising and little known behind-the-scenes goodies.

I have a lot of books on animation-all of which I love. A Celebration Of Animation is one of my favorite titles and I enjoyed reading each and every page complemented by photos of some of my favorite cartoon characters.

There is so much information contained within this delightful, hard cover book with its colorful, character-filled dust cover.

Luke 6:32
For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.
