When the Ultimate Wolverine Vs. Hulk mini-series came out a
few years ago from Marvel Comics I got excited.
The new mini-series promised lots of macho mayhem. Unfortunately the last issue took almost a
year to complete-but it was worth it. It
remains one of my favorite mini-series.
Shout! Factory, via its Marvel Knights Animation division,
has translated the mini-series to DVD using its cutting edge animation that
take images from the series and adds effects, sound effects and a stellar voice
cast that bring the story to life.
Witness the battle of the century as Wolverine and the hulk
face off in one the most violent (and admittedly funny) slugfests in Marvel Comics
history.
