In a modern retelling of a Bible classic, Sean (played by Nathan
Clarkson) rebels against his family and home and sets out to find his own path
in life.
Along the way he encounters people and situations that test
him at every turn and ultimately forces him to choose the direction of his
life.
Filled with knock-out performances (especially Kevin Sorbo
as Sean’s father) Confessions of a Prodigal Son delivers plenty of laughs,
tears and an emotional roller coaster of a ride.
I highly recommend that especially young people watch this
film. Its message of hope, perseverance and
faith promises to help those youth struggling with their own identities and
attempts to guide them from making life-changing tragic mistakes.
Kevin Sorbo recently starred in the Christian film “God Is
Not Dead” delivering a powerful performance.
As a Christian himself Mr. Sorbo uses his considerable acting talents to
spread the word of faith and delivers a message of salvation.
Confessions of a Prodigal Son from Cinedigm successfully
delivers its message of, “The choices we make are the stories we tell.”
