1960’s
and early 1970’s Saturday morning animated cartoon shows were huge hits and big
money makers in their time.
Well-known
animation studios such as Hanna-Barbera, Walter Lantz, Warner Bros.,
DePatie-Freleng, Filmation and Jay Ward turned out the lion’s share of
programs.
But,
did you know that there was another animation studio, although not as well
known, that turned out some of the most iconic animated TV shows during that
era?
I’m
talking about Total Television Productions (TTP) which was responsible for such
characters as Underdog (voiced by actor Wally Cox), Tennessee Tuxedo (voiced by
Get Smart actor Don Adams), Go, Go Gophers, Klondike Kat and dozens more.
