The Avengers Times Three

I’m back again with three more comic books that I believe contain pivotal stories in comic book history--specifically Marvel Comics history.

Without a doubt the Avengers movies are hugely successful,

The last Avengers movie bumped out Avatar as the #1 grossing movie of all time.

Three Avengers books that should be apart of any Avengers fan’s collection come from the Bronze and Silver Ages.

Issue #43 from the Silver Age contains the first appearance of the U.S.S.R.’s answer to Captain America: The Red Guardian.

It just so happens that he is the Black Widow’s estranged husband.

This issue promises to escalate in value, as The Red Guardian is in the upcoming Black Widow movie.

Also for the Silver Age is The Avengers #83 which features the ’first’ appearance of Valkyrie.

It turns out she is really the Enchantress in disguise, but hard-core collectors still consider it an unofficial first appearance.

You remember her: she appeared in the last Thor movie.

Last, but certainly not least is the Bronze Age Giant Size Avengers #4 that celebrated the marriage of the Scarlet Witch and the Vision.

Considering that the human and android couple star in an upcoming the WandaVision TV series this issue is sure to be big with fans.

There you have it: three Avengers titles that are ’must-haves’ for any true Avengers fan.
