Growing up one of my favorite comic books titles was The Flash when I first started to read comic books.
There was something amazing about an individual who could move so fast and do the things The Flash could do.
Add that to the fact that the comic book had some awesome villains and snuck in some science and the issue was sure to be a hit.
I loved reading about the Flash’s exploits and battling such baddies as Mirror Master, Captain Cold and the like.
In DC Comics 80 Page Giant The Flash Issue No. 4 not only were several of Flash’s classic tales reprinted but an original Golden Age flash tale was included as well.
Just look what issue contained: The Flash was pitted against-a giant mosquito, a huge hourglass prison, a sudden catastrophic gain of weight, Black Lightning and a pirate torpedo.
How does he escape? You’ll just have to pick up a copy for yourself to find out.
It’s a classic Silver Age collection of The Flash tales that originally sold for 25 cents. Good like finding an issue for that cheap!
