Teenagers-Who Can Figure Them Out?
Having raised two teenagers my wife and I can attest to and bare witness to the shenanigans, totally illogical and crazy things our kids managed to get into.
That’s why the new Zits softbound book collection of daily and Sunday comics strip contained in Binge-Worthy Zits by Jeremy Scott and Jim Borgman and published by Andrews McMeel Publishing, depicts teenagers so well.
The illustration of the star’s comic strip: Jeremy, explains it all.
Jeremy is seen slouched over a chair with food scattered about and using his laptop.
As a former high school teacher I dealt with teenagers of all sorts. The one thing they had in common was their unpredictability.
This is never more evident than in this new Zits collection.
Just look what Jeremy and his teenage friends are up to:
- Trying to explain the internet to their parents
- Rock and Roll
- School lockdowns
- Phone apps that are a little too personal
- Research paper horrors
- Bad cloths choices
- Computer memory and speed withdrawals
- Surprise parties
- Teenage hygiene
- Teenager substitution
- Wi-fi
- Covid safety
- Fishing with dad
- Phone maintenance
- Age jokes
- Hotness hibernation
- And much, much more.....
If you are raising or have raised teenagers, know teenagers or completely avoid teenagers then this is the one book you just gotta have. Think of it as a teenager primer.
Proverbs 4:7 (NKJV) “Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.”
