Material Wonder

Architect and interior designer Fiona Lynch has re-imagined what rooms are all about. No longer cold, utilitarian and humdrum her rooms exude the poetic, complexity and are inviting.

Isn’t it amazing that an individual can simple use such things like stone, plastic, wood, metal and cloth to create incredible rooms?

Even more amazing is designing rooms that exude  certain attitudes, functions and individuality.

That’s exactly what Fiona Lynch showcases in the new book from Thames & Hudson: Material Wonder The Interiors Of Fiona Lynch.

I’m awestruck, amazed, delighted and inspired by the color photos enclosed and motivated by the accompanying text.

The book invites readers to delve into the mind of one of the world's greatest interior designer.  It's fascinating.

What an amazing book! I absolutely love the room designs no matter the type of material, furnishings, lighting and theme used.

I wish I had the money, talent and time to create such incredible rooms in our house.  Perhaps someday.

Are you ready to design your own room? Use the book as a guide, inspiration and reference. Then you too can boast of your room’s Material Wonder.
