He’s back! Geof
Darrow is back and he’s brought his most famous creation, Shaolin Cowboy, with
him and Dark Horse has them both.
For those of you unfamiliar with Geof Darrow’s work you are in
for a treat. The man is the master of detail. His artwork is so jam-packed full of lines
that it will send your brain into overdrive.
Taking in his beautiful artwork is almost a religious experience.
In Shaolin Cowboy #1, Shaolin literally is reborn and he’s brought
a horde of flesh hungry zombies with him.
Brandishing his two chain saws on the end of a pole Shaolin makes short
work of the living dead and makes for the hills with the remaining horde in hot
pursuit.
Along the way (in a hilarious sequence) he comes upon some
long hair hippie types, manages to save them and jumps into the undead
fray. Meanwhile a secret government
space station spots his activities and reports their findings-for unknown
reasons.
