Warner Bros. presents a stellar animated adaptation of DC Comics' new justice League 52 title with minor changes (most notably SHAZAM! instead of Aquaman).
Combining the best of traditional and computer-generated animation techniques the Blu-ray/DVD/Digital HD Ultraviolet Combo Pack presents the origin of the Justice League starting with Batman and Green Lantern, the Flash, Wonder Woman, Cyborg and ending with SHAZAM!When winged demons start showing up in Metropolis, Gotham City and other major cities across the globe people start to disappear. The demons (or Parademons) are the mindless minions of Darkseid, the megalomaniac alien conqueror with nothing but death and destruction as his ultimate goal.
The Parademons, besides abducting victims to be transformed into new Parademons, are planting Mother Box devices across the globe that will form gateways (or Boom Tubes) that will transport Darkseid and his army to Earth ensuing its conquest.
The aforementioned heroes band together (and with the help of Victor Stone's new Cyborg abilities) battle Darkseid and ultimately win. But at a high cost. Although human causalities are relatively low (since Darkseid needs humans for more Parademons) widespread destruction is everywhere.
When the dust settles the superhuman heroes are no longer feared by the general population, they are revered. So begins the Justice League.
Justice League War is everything a superhero movie lover could want: lots of slugfests, destruction, strong characters and dialogue and spectacular visual effects.
