Issue #1 still finds Slade Wilson: Deathstroke as a mercenary for hire. There’s plenty of action, gunplay, man-on-man combat all the mayhem you expect from Deathstroke.
Only in this new version of the character he has a deadly female associate, a near invincible nemesis, a benefactor with a mysterious agenda and at the end of the issue he...well, you’ll just have to see for yourself.
This version of Deathstroke appears to have a mystical slant if the cover is any indication.
Regardless it’s a fun issue to read with some great art and some interesting twists, turns and changes.
