Nowadays it’s getting more and more difficult to differentiate automobile manufacturers cars from each other.
It is easier to tell the difference between SUVs, sports models, compact cars and various body types but when seen through the eyes of history modern cars have a limited number of body types.
Travel back to the beginning of automobiles and trace their history through the decades and you’ll discover there is a huge catalog of body styles to choose from-most of which are unfamiliar to modern day automobile owners.
In Lennart W. Haajanen’s book: Illustrated Dictionary Of Automobiles Body Styles Second Edition, the author and illustrators Bertil Nyden and Jorgen Persson along with publisher McFarland & Company, Inc. Publishers, provide a visual and textual examination of auto body styles complete with full descriptions, the cars using the various styles and their modifications, the manufacturers, years of production, full auto specs and much more.
I am by no means an expert on automobiles but this handy paperback book provides me plenty of information and facts that are not only fascinating but extremely interesting.
Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
