Well, partner! Have you ever hankered to ride a horse, ride the range, learn all about ranch life and let your cowboy (or cowgirl) spirit run wild?
Wild River Games’ Horse Club Ride West is the perfect video game for you-on all platforms. Mine just happens to be on PC Steam.
I absolutely love the graphics. It's very bright, crisp and realistic enough to take seriously and it really gave me the feeling of being on a horse ranch.
Game play is easy even for an old analog head like myself. On most video games I’ve played I usually get killed almost before I start or find the controls so confusing that I feel frustrated and give up before I really get started.
Not so with Horse Club Ride West. I actually felt relaxed, enjoyed myself and had fun taking part in the various stages and activities.
It’s a family friendly game based on the Schleich toy franchise.
Gamers travel to the Wild River Ranch and join Sofia, Sarah, Hannah and Lisa to explore the Wild West. There is a huge panorama of Western locations to explore from canyons to rivers.
It’s like being in the Wild West. The colors replicate the sepia, browns, greens and blues. I especially liked the wide blue sky. There are even subtle variations of light and shadow.
Visit the cookhouse, meet the staff, gather around the campfire and join in the activities.
Players can select from six different horses each with a unique personality.
Learn how to barrel race, pole bend, use a bow and arrow, create art and play a guitar. You earn points and trophies as you improve and learn.
The game provides a short introduction and all through the game yo can choose character hair color, clothing, etc. Variations can be made to animals too.
Pleasant background music move the relaxed game play along and periodically the characters will interact guiding you through the game.
The game is targeted at younger horse enthusiasts. It’s low pressure, single-player and slow and easy-no pressure.
2 Thessalonians 3:16Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
Overall it was a pleasant experience, calming, easy to navigate and easy on the eyes, ears and nerves.
Younger folk are sure to love it, especially young girls.
