Having lost his family to dinosaurs Spear is despondent to the point of suicide.
When he spots a dinosaur he concludes it is responsible for the death of his family. What he discovers is Fang. When he is about to attack he notices her two children.
As he watches a group of rogue dinosaurs kills her children. Together Spear and Fang kill the intruders. Later they join forces and travel their prehistoric land together.
They encounter black magic, mastodons, ape men, a giant spider and bats, witches, rabies, an invisible killer and and old women who gets kidnapped in the last episodes of the 10 episode series.
It’s dinosaurs and cavemen done right in this exciting animated series that looks at life in prehistoric times complete with dangers around each bend.

Beautifully animated and well-written, Genndy Tartakovsky’s Primal The Complete First Season is a hit. The series won three Emmy Awards in animation.
