This is the story how the crew of the Event Horizon made a horrifying discovery: the dead live, the denizens of Hell exist and reality can be twisted and altered.
What is a nightmare and what is a dream? Are they the same? Can they be trusted? Does hope exist? Crew member after crew member discovers there is no escape and that Hell awaits them with open arms.
Wow! What a scary tale. The writing grabs you, the art (especially the predominance of red) is unsettling and the quality of the paper, printing and design of the trade paperback is topnotch.
Add to it all with cover reproductions from the mini-series and you have a terrifying, repulsive yet compelling tale that is best read in the daytime.
High marks to creative team of Christian Ward, Tristan Jones and publisher IDW on Event Horizon Dark Descent.
Don’t turn off the light because nightmare populate the Event Horizon.
